(서울=포커스뉴스) 질병관리본부는 지난 2014년 6월부터 도미니카공화국에서 거주한 L씨(28·여)에 대해 유전자 검사를 실시한 결과, 지난 30일 오후 9시30분경 지카바이러스 감염증으로 확진했다고 1일 밝혔다.
L씨는 도미니카에서 거주하다 지난달 23일 한국에 입국했다. 입국 시 미국과 대만을 경유한 것으로 알려졌다. 최초 증상 발생일은 지난달 27일로, 발진과 관절통, 근육통, 결막염 등을 호소했다.
